Geared to aid emergency personnel in their quest for continuous quality improvement, our workshops are held at a variety of locations across the U.S. as well as on an international level. FESSAM7th.jpgSelf-Assessment Workshop

This 8-hour workshop assists fire and emergency service leaders in preparing for and working towards accreditation through the unique model of self-assessment. This workshop will not only provide valuable information on conducting an agency self-assessment but also on how to prepare for an on-site peer assessment visit.

Peer Assessor Workshop

The 8-hour peer assessor workshop provides emergency service personnel with comprehensive training on how to assess and evaluate peer agencies who are seeking accreditation. While the workshop offers valuable insight into the entire peer assessment process, it specifically equips personnel with the tools and know-how to fairly and consistently evaluate an agency's performance, to write a comprehensive findings report, and to substantiate CFAI’s rating process.

SOC.jpgStandards of Response Coverage (SOC) Workshop - Basic

The 8-hour SOC Basic workshop equips Fire Service personnel with the fundamental know-how to rationally plan for and justify varying levels of service. Through an overview of resource deployment planning and community risk analysis, this workshop covers the latest tools to calculate and analyze risk as well as the latest processes to map deployment and deployment coverage areas – such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software packages.

Standards of Response Coverage (SOC) Workshop - Advanced

Additionally, students will be exposed to demonstrations of related software packages available today, and hear first-hand lessons from accredited agencies who have successfully developed a standard of response coverage.

Chief Fire Officer Designation - A Guide to Completing the CFO Process
